  PEEWEE - A Rescue Story

Pee-Wee is a sweet, sensitive senior 10 year old neutered male weighing 21 pounds. He was surrendered by his former owners who said he had difficulty adjusting to the young children that the couple had recently adopted. Sadly, Pee-Wee's health had been neglected, and the pain he was suffering no doubt added to his problems around active toddlers. Pee Wee was seen by our vet and is now healthy ahd happy.

Pee-Wee has arthritis in his two back knees and this is being managed effectively with daily pain medication. He loves short walks and will tell you when he's had enough. Pee Wee prefers to curl up and nap with his favourite people. Soft blankies and a cuddle on the couch is Pee Wee's idea of a perfect day! He is a very laid back boy that loves his comforts . The ideal couch potato!

Pee-Wee takes a little while to warm up to new people, but once he does he's hooked! He loves the company of his human around him at all times. Pee-Wee

loves to be held like a baby and have his belly rubbed. He also loves to burrow under blankets and cuddle up and sleep.

Pee Wee would do well in a quiet, relaxed environment where he can curl up on someone and nap. Pee-Wee knows his basic commands sit, stay, down and shake a paw. He is completely housebroken and crate trained and will cry at the door to let you know that he needs to go outside. Pee-Wee is a kind compassionate gentleman who has a ton of love to offer.

Pee Wee waited patiently for his forever home while our younger dogs were adopted. He waited a long time for a special person to come along and adopt him.

Thankfully, Pee-Wee has found that perfect forever home to sit back, relax and enjoy life in! Congratulations Pee-Wee and Patricia!
