I went to pick up young Mr. Bentley for
foster care on a day after a little ice storm. There were slate grey
clouds racing across the sky sliced with brilliant blue and the sun
backlit on the ice-covered branches lighting them up like shimmering
silver. It was so beautiful and Bentley slept through it all! When we
arrived home Bentley showed himself to be an energetic, gregarious and
loving little spirit and even my grumpy boston terrier Fanny broke down
and was racing around with him all over the house. Bentley was with me for
a short time until his new home was found. |

This is just a short message to let you know that Bentley is doing fine.
He has blended in well with the family. He has put on some weight and he
looks great. We have taught him to sit, shake both paws and to lay down
and roll over. He is exceptionally intelligent and learns very quickly. He
doesn't like the winter. Getting him to go out can be a task. Molly and he
have become very close. They have the odd tiff once and a while but it’s
nothing. He loves to go for rides in the truck. Its high and he can see
everything. If I mention the word "truck" he goes crazy. We love
him very much and you can't have him back! “ He was only with me for a short time but after he left his absence was felt by everyone. His new family is so lucky and so is Bentley. Congratulations to the Burwell family and Bentley! Nancy Taylor Ontario BTCC Rescue Representative |
